Adorable books with an amazing message
Review byDustie
I really love these little books that retell the biblical accounts of several significant stories. They lovingly explain the seriousness of sin and the atonement required for salvation. Each weaves in the message of salvation through Jesus, which is really wonderful. The illustrations are colorful. The vocabulary words and pictures to find in the story are a bonus. These little books make a great addition to our home library, and they would make a nice gift. They’ve quickly become favorites in our family.

And for me to be able to even say that is amazing my daughter dreaded reading now she can't get enough. I can say these book are changing my daughter view point in reading. I fell so blessed to be able to say that. Thank you Master Books for these amazing books.

Little books with a powerful message!
Review byJoyfulMommy
These are wonderful little books with a powerful message, at a reading level easy for my third grader to read to her younger siblings, and easy for them to follow and understand. They’ve led to some wonderful conversations after reading. I particularly appreciate the way the Old Testament stories connect the historical account to the gospel and the unchangeableness of God. I think that having children’s books that do this helps to establish that pattern as we read other Old Testament Bible stories and look for how they point to Christ.
C.H. Spurgeon once quoted a story in which an older preacher gave this advice to a young man just beginning his ministry. “Don’t you know, young man, that from every town and every village and every hamlet in England, wherever it may be, there is a road to London? So from every text of Scripture there is a road to Christ. And my dear brother, your business is, when you get to a text, to say, now, what is the road to Christ? I have never found a text that had not got a road to Christ in it, and if ever I do find one, I will go over hedge and ditch but I would get at my Master, for the sermon cannot do any good unless there is a savor of Christ in it.” These books are rich with the “savor of Christ” and would be a great addition to your library!

Great engaging readers with the gospel message!
Review bySara
These little books are perfect attention grabbers for pre-k to 1st grade kiddos. In my opinion they give just the right amount of information about the Bible story, point to the deeper meaning of the story; bringing everything back to Jesus. To me this is something very rare in a children's book book and I love it. Half of these stories focus on an OT Bible passage, in which my kiddos really love the little picture clues they are to watch out for, as well as the silly questions at the end that bring the story’s focus to the gospel. The Jesus storybooks are equally engaging and keep my kiddos attention throughout the whole book! The thing that is most precious to my heart is that after reading these readers I have such great conversations with my children, no matter how many times we read them. These readers really speak to them and explain difficult stories in a way that makes sense to them so that I can then continue to shepherd their heart. I HIGHLY recommend this set!

Great OT Accounts Connecting the Gospel
Review byMichael
Great short accounts of Old Testament events.
For Moses and the Bronze Serpent, I personally like how the book connected the bronze serpent situation to the life of Jesus.
For Abraham and Issac, I liked how the book connected Abraham offering his son to God offering His Son (Jesus).
For David and Goliath I liked how the book connected the life of Jesus to the account of how David defeated Goliath.
My children liked looking for the specific pictures in the book. That way it kept their attention (along with the book being short). We walked away with a better appreciation for how Jesus is all throughout Scripture.

Adorable Children’s Book with an Fantastic Message
Review byKathleen C
David and Goliath- his book is the retelling of David fighting Goliath from I Samuel Chapter 17. The story is very engaging for children. The pictures included are wonderful- they tell the story to a non reader as well.
It includes: information about the author in the Bible- Samuel, special words with definitions and a scripture verse.
This clearly shows how the story of David and Goliath relates to Jesus. Jesus smashed death for all and He lives forever.
Just like David was a hero, Jesus is our hero and sits on the throne in heaven forever.
I highly recommend this book for your home library.

I love the way this author shows you how what happened to Abraham and Isaac to tell us about Jesus.
Jesus paid for our sin and because of this we can trust Him to rescue us.
I highly recommend this book for your home library.
