So much amazing information!
Review by Andi
This chart is impressive! I have the digital/printable version and it was easy to print and connect together. My oldest was so impressed with how much information was on it. I love the biblical history and major events shown. It is a very comprehensive layout. Goes from Creation all the way to modern times. Great addition to any history lesson for sure. Beautifully done and shown. Very clear to follow also. Great tool to have.
Invaluable resource for seeing history at a glance
Review by BuildingontheRock
The Adams’ Chart of History is an invaluable resource that gives world history from creation to the early 1900s. Seeing a visual of the overlapping lives of Adam and his descendants is very impactful, as well as the development of the nations of our world, along with various interesting details along the way, which are expanded upon in the Key. The printed material is a large fold out. The digital PDF shows each panel per digital page. It allows for zooming in to read small print for in-depth study. However, because some paragraphs are written over 2 panels it is tough to go back and forth between pages to read them. I recommend having both the printed and digital versions to make the most of this invaluable resource.
Brilliant resource!

With visual learners this timeline is worth gold! It doesn't just give historical events in relation to each other by reflecting what happened around the same time in many different locations, but it also connects biblical history to secular history often reflected in traditional history textbooks. This timeline is an excellent resource to bridge the gap between what is often labelled as "academic history" vs "religious history". A resource like this is a wonderful addition to any homeschool or family library
Resource that will be used again and again
Review by SB
Adams Chart of History is very detailed and full of information, almost overwhelmingly so. I prefer to look at the physical timeline, because it is such a large book and there is so much information. But the ebook version is also helpful because you can have all of the information at your fingertips without lugging around the very large timeline. The colors and graphics in the chart are helpful. This is a great reference for families to have and will be referred to again and again.
Impressive and Timeless Resource
Review by Charity
Named for it's creator, Hon. S.C. Adams, this chart is a reproduction of a vintage resource that was first released around the time of and displayed at the centennial exposition. This chart is just as relevant impressive now, as we approach the semiquincentennial anniversary of our nation.

This chart clearly and beautifully illustrates important events since the beginning of time and presents a chronology determined by Usher who based the age of the earth on chronical information taken from Scripture. Each civilization and stream is clearly indicated and laid out so that you can see the connections between the different events around the world that were happening at the same point in time, as well as the effects of some of the events. The accompanying 64 page key gives a succinct overview of all of the major events within each stream presented here.

This would be a great resource to use alongside World's Story or any of the upper level MB courses. The PDF version is great for zooming in on specific parts of the timeline, but nothing can beat the impact of the physical format.

I will mention that there are some slightly graphic images of statues such as Colossus of Rhodes and the image from Nebuchadnezzar's Dream. There are also illustrations featuring a few major Greek deities. All of these are very minor and mainly confined to one or two panels.
Visual Historical Representation
Review by Michele
There is definitely value in having the physical book, but I have also cast the digital version to our television to all view a page together. We can get a different representation of a Bible lesson or perspective of history that overlaps different areas at the same time period. I like the use of color. Each page is packed with information and you could look at small sections and enjoy it for a long time.
Impressive visual
Review by Samantha
This an impressive visual timeline that traces biblical and world history from creation to modern times. Its fold-out design is striking, showing the flow of events, people, and civilizations in a single sweeping view. The chart connects Scripture with historical milestones, making it a valuable resource as a biblical perspective on history. Some of the smaller text and color choices can be hard to read, but it remains a beautifully made and thought-provoking resource that encourages deeper exploration of history through a biblical lens.
So much here!
Review by Shannon
Im overwhelmed by the amount of information on this chart! The timeline starts at creation and ends with the founding of America. I love how this chart allows you to see where major events in history happened in relation to other events, all while being anchored in Biblical history. I have the digital copy but this chart is so beautifully done and has so much information you are going to want the physical copy! This is an amazing resource to have whether for the Biblical history, history in general or to have for reference material. A key is included (64 pages) to explain the chart and history it contains. Worth the investment!
