I really love these series for elementary grades. I have a 6yo and 9yo and they both LOVE these series! These are the lessons they ask for more when we are done. They look forward to the simple but fun activities. This science is a joy in our house and we all learn something with every lesson!
Perfect Science Book

Perfect Science Curriculum complete with fun experiments. We did AIC last year, and this is the perfect fit for my second grader. The experiments included are so creative yet simple to do. This is the perfect elementary science book that supports God's word!
Adventures in the Physical World: Level 2
Review by Love2BeMom
This is the perfect transition from Adventures in Creation level 1. It is designed for second grade with an easy to follow schedule for 3 lessons a week. It follows a weekly pattern of learning about the topic on the first day, hands-on activities and investigations on the second day, and application and sharing by means of making a science notebook on the third day. This program uses Biblically inspired historical fiction stories, imagining what Noah’s lives may have been like, to illustrate concepts and provide great discussion starters. There is a materials-needed list to complete this program on page 8, most of the materials from your cupboard. It covers concepts like energy, simple machines, force, astronomy, meteorology, and geology. The children will grow their faith as they experience God’s wonderful creation.
A Gentle Approach to Physics from a Christian Worldview
Review by Kelly Ann
After making the switch to Adventures in Creation: Level 1, last year, we fell in love with the curriculum and its gentle approach to science. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when I had found out that the second level was getting ready to be released. Now after receiving Adventures in the Physical World: Level 2, it has not only met, but exceeded my expectations. It really is the perfect transition from Level 1. Just like the first level, this science program offers a gentle approach to the subject with a Christian worldview. The book also uses fictional stories that include people from Biblical history to engage children throughout each lesson and help them use critical thinking. The first level focused on the first family (Adam, Eve, Cain, and Able), while the second level focuses on Noah and his family.

One important component to any science curriculum is the inclusion of various experiments, and this program has plenty of fun, hands-on activities to choose from. This makes learning science all the more fascinating. Just like the first level, Level 2 offers an organized layout to help take all of the guesswork out of planning. The beginning of the book contains a complete list of all the supplies that we need for each lesson, and there is also a preplanned schedule already set up.

I love science, but physical science was never my favorite, so I was worried how I could make it more fun for my son. Well Adventures in the Physical World has definitely been the answer to this dilemma! Thank you Master Books!
