Customer Reviews
Did I say it was family style! My preschoolers has coloing sheets, my older two have other projects to do. (If I had a high schooler they could dig deeper with research projects.) It's also flexible based on how they learn, hands on, lots of reading, or even notebooking.
I love how the kids get the history and the background of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, as well as the men that had a hand in making it all possible.
There's also a week on studying the students state, though good, I wasn't expecting it.
As to the additional resources, there's no schedule for adding those in. The course can be done without extra books, but the newer reading books such as the What a Character series and the Valor series are some the optional books I recommend adding in. (Each unit states when to assign those readings should you choose to use them.)
This can be used as a core curriculum, a summer break study, or a morning basket book.
