It Was a Good Course.
Review by Marissa
I took this course when I was in ninth grade. It was a little dry, but it had a lot of good information.

Great to keep them interested and reading, very much enjoyed!
Preview ch 33, lesson 2
Review by Crystal
As I sat to preview this book for my daughter, I'm so glad that I checked out the chapter called "Contemporary Issues part 1". In lesson 1, abortion and anti-abortion are covered, but only by giving the stances for each side. No where does it talk about biblical principles. No right/wrong. No opinions, just stances.
Yet, in lesson 2, Racial Reconciliation, the author uses biblical principles to try to justify white guilt. The idea that a modern white person should apologize to all black people for something they had nothing to do with. It's a very disturbing lesson.

I will no longer use any Master Books products, nor will I recommend them.
No what I was hoping for
Review by Marilyn
Alot of good info in this book, but I felt it was lacking a strong Christian worldview like most mb books would have, very disappointing.
Great Resource
Review by Angela
This is a beautiful book with great information. I have been pleased with it.
The chapter on black nationalism is misleading
Review by Scott
I certainly do not agree with the chapter on black nationalism. It does not help to continue to try and divide the nation. We are all Americans, not Black Americans and white Americans. And there is no excuse for violence, but the text claims that in the 60's they had no choice but to choose violence.
Wonderful Book

My 4th grader uses America’s Story for history and we love it so I knew I wanted to use this one with my freshman. It’s better than I could have imagined! The lessons are broken down into manageable chunks and there is so much good information packed into this course. Very happy with this purchase!
Excellent!
Review by Angie
This is an enjoyable and informative approach to learn and discuss American history. I like that it helps the Christian student discern comparative worldviews.
American History from a Christian Worldview
Review by Caroline
I bought this for myself to learn more about history, as I did not apply myself well enough in high school to really learn much about history. But this has been a fantastic resource, not just to learn history, but to look at it through a Christian & biblical worldview. I look forward to when my children are in high school and get to take this course!
