Comes alive
Review byTailored Homeschool
I LOVE Audio in the car and it helps history come alive with Angela reading it. I love how she sings in it. Even my toddlers are learning Americas Story with the audio

Great addition to the book
Review byMiranda
We got this to use on days we are in the car. So we didn't use it with every lesson. LOVE this extra resource!

Captivating!
Review byErica
It's wonderful to hear the author read the history stories aloud. The text becomes person, powerful and captivating! The beautiful way she weaves history and a biblical world view has brought me tears at times!

Lifesaver
Review byLisa
We actually chose this curriculum in part because it had the audio MP3 to go with it. My daughter is a struggling reader, and also an auditory learner. This was perfect! It's beautifully read and makes the lesson come alive. Well done! Wish they had this option for all subjects!

Worthy Investment
Review byKareth
This was such a worthy investment! It was a breath of fresh air to have Ms. O'Dell, the author of the book, read it to us. We looked forward to listening to history each week!

So helpful!
Review byAnika
This was such a help for my daughter who has reading limitations. She can listen and read along, allowing her to hear the words she can't read herself. It really was a time saver (voice saver!) for me as reading everything to her can be time consuming. I will continue to buy the series as she goes through America's Story!

Nice addition to the book
Review byCarol
It's nice for my son to listen while looking at what is being talked about. The narrator does a great job, not 'stuffy' like some can be.

Highly recommend for audio lovers
Review byTraci
I love the audiobook of America's Story because we can listen to it on the go, like a story. We usually listen in the car because we have a 30 min drive a few days a week and I like to get our school in as we go rather than think we have an hour of missed school. We can always go back and refer to the book or look at anything she points our for us to look at. This is one less thing I have to read aloud to my elementary student, and my Jr High girls listen as well just for fun since they are doing American History based courses as well! We love it. She's great!

Great for Sharing and Discussing (part 2)
Review byMelissa
When I wrote my first review of America's Story 1 Audio, we hadn't gone too far into the curriculum but was already pretty happy with what we were learning even just a short way though. Now that we have finished the audio in its entirety, I say enthusiastically that we were VERY happy what we learned!
First, I'd like to take back my thoughts about the narrator's voice seeming "monotoned". It was a wrong early impression that I had because our way of talking is different from hers, and to my ears, she sounded dull. I (we) did get used to her voice though and ended up really, really enjoying her telling us about our history. Both of my boys are EAGER to hear more stories and we have already started America's Story 2 audio.
Second review update, the history stories felt like actual stories and not a curriculum with only important dates and locations. Throughout each chapter, we had the opportunity to see how America was and feel the emotions of what the early American's were experiencing. The narrator really did make history come to life, she kept my boys feeling engaged, and interested. It's been a great learning experience. Well done Master Books!

Helped a lot
Review bymisty
This really helped my kids understand. I really like how I don't have to read out loud. I have a medical issues that causes trouble getting words out all the time. Wish it was available with other books
