Good resource
Review byJenna
I bought this to go with America's Story 2 but I don’t use the activities very much. I think the activities are better for older students.

Great and really makes you think!
Review byTerena
With this level we pre-read the questions on the worksheets before reading so we know what to look out for in the reading material. If you do the worksheets on a separate day they can be a little difficult for the younger ages.

America's Story 2-History (TG)
Review byWendy
I highly recommend spending the money on having a teacher's guide for each student. It is much more cost effective than printing out copies of the pages for each student to work from. At least this has been our view on working with our children.

Great Resource

We absolutely love the America's Story series and decided with 2, to add the Teacher Guide. {We didn't with 1}. I'm grateful to have the options of more questions as well as gauging what our boys know every 8 weeks or so. We don't complete every single page but when I plan out our semester, I now look at the options in the guide for each chapter and pick the ones that I'd like for them to do. {Probably ⅔ to ¾ of the book}. It's a great resource and keeps me from having to think up questions or further study.

Just use it as a guide
Review byAshley
This is a great resource for kids who can write. My child really struggles with that, and also with the drawing. We just use the questions to discuss orally, and that works well enough. I would like some questions were she could get her answers on paper herself. Multiple choice, matching, and fill in the blank would really be helpful to have more of.

Love this series
Review byErin
We did AS1 last year and are doing AS2 this year with kids ages 10 and under. We do the textbook as a readaloud and pick and choose activities/questions from the teachers guide. We all love the way the textbook is set up, with the engaging pictures and the way it is written to the student. I'm learning as much as my kids are :)
