Love History

Love it as a read aloud and I love the illustrations, makes it come alive!
LOVE THIS!!!
Review by Christi
We got this as our first full subject in Masterbooks! My son loves anything by Angela O'Dell. The writing is very engaging and he relates well to the history. I got the pdf to put on his tablet so that we can school on the go and not have to carry around tons of books that can get damaged. The only thing that I do differently than suggested in the Teacher Manual (sold separately) is that we read the whole lesson together in one day and complete the worksheets from the teacher's manual the rest of the week. He is retaining it so much better than with previously used curriculum, and the assignments/worksheets have him thinking more deeply. He enjoys it and it also just works best for our schedule to do it that way since he is older. I think that we will also follow some suggestions from some of the moms on the Moms of Masterbooks fb group and use all of the America's Stories back to back in one year for high school American History credit when that time comes.
