Dan Lietha
Dan Lietha is a Christian cartoonist and illustrator known for his work in creation apologetics. Born and raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Dan came to faith in Jesus at a young age. His lifelong passion for dinosaurs and animals sparked his love of drawing, which continues to this day. He is a 1987 graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in New Jersey. Since 1995, Dan has created numerous well-known cartoons and illustrations for creation apologetics ministries such as Answers in Genesis and Reasons for Hope. In January 2024, he joined the staff of the Biblical Science Institute (BSI), a creation-focused science ministry dedicated to equipping Christians to rationally defend the biblical worldview. Dan’s goal as an artist is to create artwork that challenges people to think more biblically and makes theological and scientific concepts easier to understand. Dan lives in Northern Kentucky with his wife, Marcia. They have a married daughter, Hannah, and son-in-law, Noah, who also reside in the NKY area.
