Take your children on a three-year, story-based exploration of American history. You'll give them a clear-eyed patriotism rooted in truth and help them see God's hand even in the difficult chapters.

Your kids will beg to keep reading. Riveting stories hook them on American history and help them remember what they learn.

Open the book and teach. Fully planned 45-minute lessons mean no prep, no guesswork, just peaceful time with your kids.

You'll give your children more than a biblical view of history. They'll begin to see themselves as part of the story God is still writing.

Teach multiple ages together, or adapt for diverse learners. America’s Story flexes to fit your family, not the other way around.

I wanted to create a living history that draws children in, nourishes their hearts, and fans the flame of their God-given love for learning. My hope is that families see God’s hand in America’s story—through its triumphs and its failures—and come away inspired by the heroes and lessons that point us back to Him."
Angela O'Dell
Author, America's Story series
Each day, read the Student Textbook and then choose from the activities in the Teacher Guide.

THE MOST ENJOYABLE WAY TO LEARN
You’ll need just one student textbook for your entire family.
Savor the conversational narratives by reading aloud to your children. As you go, share the photographs, maps, and illustrations to generate curiosity and boost understanding.

FOR CONFIDENCE IN TEACHING
The Teacher Guides include 36-week, daily schedules; consumable/reproducible activity pages with answer keys; and a toolbox of activities: Map Adventures, creative and hands-on project ideas, Word Collectors, and Artist Studies. Each volume includes a year-long character-building project: a Book of Prayers (Vol. 1), a Book of Kindness (Vol. 2), and a Book of Service (Vol. 3).

TO KEEP KIDS ENGAGED ALL YEAR
Bring Angela O'Dell's voice directly into your home with audiobooks of the student textbook. They're a game changer for auditory learners, struggling readers, and busy days when sitting down with a book isn't an option. Round out the experience with full-color timeline packs: hands-on visual tools that help your children build a chronological picture of history they can see and touch.
See exactly what's inside. Preview the student textbooks and teacher guides before you buy.

Stacey

"He learned so much about our country's history...the good and the bad. Nothing sugar coated and I am thankful for that. He has an understanding that in a sinful world there are no perfect nations or societies and that is why we all need God."
Rose
Homeschool Mom
"My son retained the information like a sponge. ... By the end of the year he was getting much better at writing and explaining himself in his answers."
Lindsay
Homeschool Mom
"This book definitely fosters national pride and patriotism, and includes the faith that is so important and intricately entwined in it from before the founding of America."

A. Yes. Younger kids may need more support, and older students can go deeper. You’re in control, and the system flexes with you.
A. Not at all. The Teacher Guide is a toolbox, not a checklist. You choose what fits your child: swap written narration for oral narration, let them sketch instead of write, or simply skip what doesn't serve them. You're in control.
A. Honestly and age-appropriately. The series doesn't whitewash history. Difficult subjects are addressed through a biblical lens of repentance and redemption, giving children the full story and the faith framework to make sense of it.
A. Each volume requires a Student Textbook and a Teacher Guide. The textbook is non-consumable and can be shared across your family. The Teacher Guide contains the consumable/reproducible worksheets, so purchase one per child or make copies: permission is granted with your purchase. Audiobooks and timeline packs are optional add-ons.
A. Yes, and it's designed for exactly that. America's Story is built for family-style learning across grades 3-6, so your children can move through it together for a full-family adventure.
