A Week Inside Let's Talk Science

Find the Right Level for Your Child
Let's Talk Science follows a grade-by-grade structure, but the author designed it with real homeschool families in mind: multi-age households, kids who learn ahead or behind grade level, and parents who just want to start somewhere without second-guessing themselves.
As a result, each level has both a target grade and a recommended age/grade range. Use all of these data points when deciding where to begin, and don't stress the decision too much. The series is intentionally flexible.
A few simple guidelines:
- When in doubt between two levels, start with the lower one. The confidence your child builds doing science well matters more than rushing to harder material.
- If you teach multiple children at once, choose the level that fits your youngest active learner. Older siblings will still engage with the experiments and discussions, and the series is specifically designed to welcome that.
