    Author Gary Parker is a former evolutionist. He has an Ed.D in biology, and has lectured widely for both the Institute for Creation Research and Answers in Genesis. Currently, Gary continues to lecture, conduct science labs, and field trips for young people.

    The final 45 days of the pre-med course dive into the book The Building Blocks in Life Science. This book is a great creation based book that teaches the student how so much of our body and DNA shows our creator as the master designer. This book would also be a great tool to help someone understand why evolution is not true.

    This book helps you to understand how the study of genetics makes it very difficult to uphold the belief of evolution. It consistently is pointing you to Scripture to show how to view the topic matter from a biblical perspective. I love how each chapter closes with a Form Your Foundation to further defend creationism. This is a such an informational text as well as one that will help you to further develop your education and skills to defend your faith.

    My son really enjoyed learning about genetics with this book. It reads like a textbook but it wasn't dry or boring. Filled with current and relevant information.

    My son is using this due to his journey of battling Leukemia and to make up for falling behind and actually enjoying homeschooling this book is giving him life!     Another interesting addition to the "Advanced Pre-Med" curriculum that I did with my son. It is great to have the knowledge to defend Creationism. The formatting of this book could use some work, with a less-crowded layout and more pictures in color, but still a very informative and interesting book that one will learn a lot from.

    I did not have chance to use this book yet, but I looked through it and love what I see there. It compares evolution and creationism and gives different facts about both and why creationism is true. Great source.
