This book is a cute story with beautiful illustrations and photographs. The facts are presented well and in age appropriate amounts. My kids love the flaps, pull-out maps, and pockets. While the pages are generally sturdy, the pockets do tear a bit more easily than I would like, so our little ones do need to focus on gentle hands while reading this book. Overall, this is a great addition to our library.

This book has been great! Interactive and fun. My daughter LOVES it! It has captured her attention more than her other books. It is great for a wide age range, for boys and girls, and keeps their attention! She definitely loved the map to pull out of the envelope.

My 1st grader loved this book especially the illustrations and interactive fold out maps and letters. The pages are thicker than usual, but I found that it was easy for busy hands to tear the fold outs. Goes with the territory, so no complaints, just beware :)
