Here are your answers about Biblical Chronology
Review bybibleteacher57
As a homeschool father, Christian school teacher, Bible Institute Director, and Minister of Education I rarely have found a book so universally useful than The Chronology of the Old Testament by Dr. Floyd Nolen Jones. From the possible age of the earth (based on a careful study of the Biblical genealogies) to the date of the birth and death of the Lord Jesus Christ, this book is a thoughtful, careful, and reverent exploration of the critical dates of the Old Testament. It is also a magisterial defense of the integrity of the text of the Old Testament against the insinuations of the higher critics with a real and reverent scholarship. Jones has done the Church a real favor by spending years researching what might seem to be an obscure and tedious subject, but when your homeschooler has questions about the dates of the fall of the Northern Kingdom or the Southern Kingdom at Jerusalem, or when you want to nail down who was alive during the days leading up to the flood, this book will give you a great deal of help. The charts are downloadable - though they are extremely small when printed. But the charts are included in the back of the book and you can order a preprinted set from a separate vendor. This is a book that I would truly recommend to anyone wanting to have a good grasp of the chronology of the Old Testament.
