Loving this Christian view on Civics
Review by Sara G
I am so thankful that we found a civics course from a biblical worldview. Since we were as a country founded on biblical principles it makes sense that all courses would be this way, sadly they are not. This course features tons of information, weekly quizzes and options to extend the class should you want to beyond the semester term. The set also includes videos to go alongside the course making this really a well rounded civics curriculum. I definitely recommend it!
A Biblical look at Civics
Review by Barbara D
This is a great course to look through how our country is run from a Biblical worldview. It is great seeing how our founding fathers made the countries original documents and system of government. I will warn the book does open up with the Roe vs. Wade and how that is unconstitutional because it takes a life.
As a curriculum pack, the videos are the lecture, the student book has the lecture notes and additional information. Then the student uses the worksheets in the Teacher Guide.
Though most lessons have a video lecture, not all do (and the book states this).
I love that all the founding documents are also in the back of the book.
The Teacher Guide has all the worksheets, quizzes, tests, answer keys, suggested schedule, and parent notes. The schedule included is for one semester of 4 days a week. The worksheets have a lot of questions with fill in the blanks and short answers.
This is a good course for the last year of high school to understand our government, and the student is at a good maturity level for some of the topics.
Civics with a Christian worldview
Review by SB
This bundle contains all that you need for the class: textbook, teacher manual, and video lectures. This semester-long class is so helpful to give students an understanding of the Constitution and how our government works. Students will listen to video lectures, read in the textbook and complete worksheets and quizzes. The textbook consists of 18 chapters that contain outlines and information related to the video lectures. The appendix includes important documents such as The Mayflower Compact, The Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution.

The manual contains the schedule to complete the course in 18 weeks. There are 1 - 2 worksheets to complete per chapter, as well as a chapter quiz. The end of the book contains the answer key. I like that the entire Constitution is written out in the book.

The lectures are an essential component of the course. There are 15 videos and each lecture is between 20-30 minutes. It is convenient that they are available on a USB drive or as a download.
Great coverage of the constitution!
Review by excellent Constitution curriculum
My husband is a Constitution buff so he oversaw this one with our son (11th grade). It really covers the Constitution and US government very thoroughly. The content is comprehensive and the videos are very good. The Biblical worldview is also very good.
