Customer Reviews
We almost opted to skip this book and do it last because the first lesson seemed to challenge him and he thought maybe he was in over his head. And even for the next lesson he was very unsure. But he also wanted to keep going ...it was a very conflicting time, but it paid off big time! I don't know when exactly he had lightbulb moments, but definately way before half way through the book. The info started to "click" and things made sense, and he actually really truly enjoyed the rest! It got him so excited for science, now he is eager to crack open the next book. :)
The way the material is worded makes the science come to life, and its not dry and overly technical like some other curricula are. While this book doesn't go into significant detail, it is a good foundation for studying physics further. I recommend this book to someone who thinks they may enjoy physics but not sure about doing a deep dive into a year-long course.
