Nine Fruits of the Spirit
Robert Strand, one of the most successful authors in the CBA market, believes that an understanding of the qualities of a Christian deserve a close look. To that end, Strand has developed a nine-book study series on the fruits of the spirit, emphasizing not only that a properly-balanced Christian life must include love, joy, peace, patience, etc., but that God will judge us on our willingness to incorporate them into our daily walk. Written in Strand’s famous storytelling style, each book in the series includes study questions and special insights.

One Blood of Kids
Discussions about race are inundated with political correctness and cultural buzzwords. Yet, it is critical to have this difficult conversation with children today in a way they can understand – and God has given us a simple, powerful answer in the Bible.

Quick Answers to Tough Questions
Whether the argument is about evolution, history, or theology, every believer must be able to provide an answer for the hope that is within them. But you don’t have to be an expert to respond effectively when confronted about your faith. Quick Answers to Tough Questions gives you quick and concise answers to the tough questions that are often posed to believers.

How the Bible Works
Were you ever taught in church how to see the big picture of the Bible? Almost no one is. We spend a lot of time learning how we should apply it to our lives but are almost never shown how things fit together in the book. Many see it as a bunch of unconnected stories – a random collection of disjointed information. Consequently, we remain ignorant about the Bible’s divinely inspired connectedness – how it fits together theologically, historically, and literarily. How motivated would you be to put together a puzzle if you were only given certain pieces but never shown the complete picture on the box top? How The Bible Works uses groups and icons to help you remember pivotal elements in the Bible, lead you through its content and theological concepts, and show you how things are connected.

G.I. Joe & Lillie
This story of patriotism, bravery abroad and at home, and most of all, deep commitment, sets in a gold frame the very essence of America. The story of G.I. Joe and Lillie helps us all remember that true love never, ever dies.

The Fruit of the Spirit books have so much more depth than I realized.
Great way to start the morning!

My children are teen and preteens so this bundle works well for our family. We will definitely reread these books over the next few years!
Great set

My family and I have been enjoying this family morning basket set. It comes with an abundance of books to get our morning started. I have a 14, 6 and 3 year old and their favorite out of this set is the animal books. I also like that it comes with a schedule to follow.
Mostly great

We loved the morning basket - except the fruit of the spirit booklets. It was clearly written for adults (some of the questions were about your marriage) and it was harder to bring them to the kids level than to just teach them the fruits of the spirit on our own. That said, we LOVE the Marvels in Creation books, One Blood was great, and I have high hopes for the other ones as well.
For families with older kids
Review by Brittany
I'm a little disappointed with this basket because the materials won't be very useful for my elementary-aged kids (7yrs and younger) as we homeschool. I think the content is probably great for individuals, couples, and/or those with kids who are older. I pictured a morning basket as something we could read out loud for 10 to 20 minutes as a kick start to our homeschool studies every morning. I was hoping for a variety of materials that would be engaging for my advanced 7yr old, my kindergartener, and if it entertained my 2 year old, that'd be a bonus. I was hoping for resources that would be character building, increase their ability to grasp and understand Biblical concepts and life application, pique their curiosity, etc. We also already currently own many of the materials in the Elementary Basket and readers for the preK age group. With that in mind, here are a few reasons why I'm disappointed:

1. I didn't realize the fruits of the Spirit booklets are actually mini Bible studies. This format will be difficult to incorporate into the above format for our morning time.

2. I didn't find the visual guide in "How the Bible Works" to be very clear or helpful. In fact, as I browsed through the content, I was quite confused. Not really sure how to or if we'll be able to use this...?

3. In browsing through "Quick Answers to Tough Questions," I'm guessing the majority of the info. is too old for my kids. I'm hoping it will be a good resource in coming years as they become more and more aware of what is happening in our society.

I gave it three stars because the Marvels of Creation books are very bright and colorful. I expect my kids will be engaged with the information for each creature. I am excited about these.

I've not made up my mind about G.I. Joe and Lillie. I'm going to give it a whirl but I expect it will be too old for my kids; hopefully it will be a good, independent read for me.

I think One Blood For Kids will be engaging for my 7yr old but probably too much for my 5yr old. I anticipate this will be a good resource they can grow into.
Engaging books
Review by Raya
My children are elementary to high school. We used this basket of books for morning time for the year. They enjoyed looking at the pictures in the Marvel's of Creation books We used the Fruits of the Spirit booklets for Bible time. And I read aloud from One Blood for Kids which led to great table discussions. The favorite by far was G.I. Joe and Lillie. We even emailed the author and thanked him and received a welcoming response back!
Thank you! Thank you!

Thank you Master Books for making morning time amazing! I have always wanted to have a morning time with my kids but struggled with scheduling interesting resources. You have taken all the work out of morning time and made it super easy! We love these resources and have learned so much from them.
Older Basket
Review by Brigita
I have two children 7 and 3. Great bunch of books however, my kids so far have not found the information very engaging. I think it would be great for older kids but not for the younger ones. I plan on reading all the books myself and will try again with my kids when they are older.
Good set!
