    My son was taking a geology course from a Christian homeschool company. All of the books assigned were old earth/evolution books. He was sorting through for truth, but it was just irksome to use all secular or anti-Bible resources. We were so thankful when another homeschool mom pointed us in this direction! We purchased this book as well as the Oceans book. We plan to purchase weather and maybe ecology next. I’d love to buy Archaeology too. It is such a wonderful series! I appreciate how MB is revamping the volumes to clearly show what to read for different age levels.

    I just got this book because my almost 8 yr old son loves looking at through books with plenty of pictures and information. This definitely has both of those, and I love that it is written from a young earth perspective. I don’t have to worry about him reading about the theory of evolution as though it is fact.

    I'll be honest, this is not my favorite from the basic science series. The glossary was not all-inclusive of the vocabulary words and some of them had no definitions in the book at all. I did like the layout and pictures and the information was great and well-grounded in Biblical truth.
