Lots of activities
Review byElisabeth
My son (6th grade) loves the hands-on activities in this book. There are 3 units in the book. We will probably do two of them this year, as we do not do science every day. This would be a good course to use with multiple children, however I think it would be too difficult for younger students as the concepts are a bit abstract. I think it would be a stretch to teach to a third grader.

Awesome read aloud!!
Review byLauren
I’m using this book as a read aloud and independent study. Sometimes we do science for half the year, but then want to add a little something without overloading for the next semester. My son has great interest in Chemistry and he has very much enjoyed this book. I don’t have to ask him to go read it, he just goes and reads it all on his own and then runs to tell me these incredible concepts that I’ve either a) long forgotten or b) had no idea about! Haha. I’m very thankful for MB and how you can really tailor your semester or year to exactly how you need to for your student and the season of life.

Thumbs up!

G D- Chemistry / Ecology is a very informative and fun curriculum. The hands on activities are great. It can be done as a whole in a year, or mix and match units with other God’s Design Science curriculums to customize teaching science to the child’s interests or readiness level.
