Excellent Beginning Life Science
Review by AM
We've really enjoyed using God's Design for Life for Beginners this year in 2nd grade. The lessons are more textbook-like and information-oriented, instead of story-like, but that's been a perfect approach for my child. The lessons are simple enough that he has been able to read the text independently, and the optional activities add the hands-on work that really excite him without being so frequent that they're overwhelming for the parent. This is a very good introductory life science course.
My child loves it!
Review by Mrs. Thomas
This curriculum has easily become one of my son’s favorites. Very well written and engaging for both the student and the teacher.

I order this back when my daughter was going into second grade. She loved it. Beautiful science lessons that are great for those just starting to get into Science. Would definitely recommend.
Pefect for Kindergarten
Review by Sarah
My Kinder was SO excited to have a science course that was just like "the big kids". He has learned so much and often asks me to do more than one lesson a day with him.
A good intro for little ones!
Review by Stacey M
I did this with my 5, 7 and 8 year old. We worked on it together and I had each kid do a different part. It was very simple and that was perfect for us, but some might want more “meat” to it. My kids enjoyed it though!
Great Start!
Review by Krystle
I've now used this book with multiple children and it has given such a great foundation to their future education in science! The lessons are laid out for you, and enjoyable for them! This would be a great choice for someone just getting started!

Good for 1st grader
Review by Charlotteak
It wasn’t a good fit when she was 5, but my now 6.5 year old enjoys doing the lessons. The lessons are short and give a good introduction to science.
Fun and simple
Review by Gina
This curriculum is straight forward and has simple explanations. There is not a lot of activity to be done, but I enjoy that it moves quickly and I can easily add other things to enhance the topics if I want.
