How does Math Lessons for a Living Education work?

This is a skills-based series that uses a Charlotte Mason flavored approach to teaching elementary mathematics. Each skill level is the equivalent of one school year and everything you need for the course is in one book. There is a free online placement test that students are encouraged to take prior to starting the program. Once the appropriate skill level is determined, there is a lesson plan at the beginning of each book to guide you through the level. Students do approximately 1 lesson a day. Lessons include instruction, story, narration, review and practice. The teacher’s instruction is worked throughout the course with answers and manipulatives in the back of the book.
