Q. Is Master Books Language Arts (LLFLE) enough?

A. Yes, Master Books Language Arts curriculum (LLFLE) is more than enough to teach children what they need for standardized testing, for real life communication, and for success in adulthood.

The most effective curriculum is the one that generates the outcomes you desire: mastery of the skills, a devotion to God, and a love of learning. It doesn’t have to be burdensome or lengthy to be effective. Master Books LLFLE takes a counterintuitive but effective stance, relying on The GENTLE Approach™ which builds confidence and preserves the joy of learning because stressed students don't learn as well, regardless of how rigorous a program appears on paper.

Cristina’s story is a great example to answer the question, “Is Master Books Language Arts enough?” She explains, “We have used LLFLE for a few years now. We love The GENTLE Approach™, and our daughter loves 101 Bible Stories. If I am being honest though, we have thought about changing to another language arts program several times due to so many people saying this program is too easy/not enough. In the end we stuck with LLFLE and hoped for the best.

“We live in a highly regulated state, so we were constantly worried our daughter would fall short come time to take the standardized testing. I am here to say that I now totally disagree with those saying this program isn't enough. I think the gentle approach leaves some with a misleading feeling. We have not supplemented with any other program up to this point, and our daughter scored above average on the CAT. Thank you, Master Books, for teaching language arts in a gentle but effective way.”
