Q. What materials are needed for MLFLE?

A. The core curriculum requires only the Student Workbook, a full color, workbook + textbook combination in a single volume. 

• Unlike many other elementary math programs, MLFLE does not come with or require a pricey manipulatives kit. Instead, supply lists in the front of the book help parents identify common household items to use as low-cost manipulatives. Printable manipulatives can be found in the back of the book and can also be downloaded from Supplemental Resources here.
• The Practice Makes Perfect workbooks are optional, supplemental practice with quizzes. 
• For parents who want to dive more deeply into the worldview behind the curriculum and become an even more effective math teacher, the Teaching Companion is available as an add-on. 
• For families who desire more instructional support, self-paced, online courses are offered for levels 4, 5, and 6 through Master Books Academy.
