What is the sequence of your lower elementary language arts courses?
Most 5 year olds will begin with Simply K, which teaches Bible and character, phonemic awareness, letters and sounds (the alphabet), and life skills. After completing week 23 of Simply K, your student may begin Foundations Phonics. However, you may also wait until completing Simply K to begin Foundations Phonics. We recommend Foundations Phonics for the first semester of first grade and Language Lessons for a Living Education 1 for the second semester of first grade.
