Grade 6 Math
Review by Ashley
My daughter is one of those children who far excels in English, but dreads math. This series has always been wonderful about explaining difficult concepts. Though this was challenging for her, she did grow more confident as she realized most of her struggles were just her overthinking.
Great math curriculum

My daughter has loved Math Lessons for a Living Education. She did find the 6th grade workbook to be more of a challenge but she enjoyed it and learned a lot. She likes to work independently and was able to do that for the most part with this workbook.
Prep work for course
Review by Shondra
Excited to see how my daughter grows. She really like Level 5, and is ready to try Level 6.
Upon prepping her books for this upcoming school year, I was perplexed to see that the Student workbook is not perforated or hole punched. Our kids find the Binder method makes the Teacher Guides and Student workbooks user friendly being able to remove the pages. This course offers a Teachers Guide that is hole punched and perforated, with Weekly Lesson Schedule, Quizzes, and Solutions Manual. The Student Math book, is not.

EDITOR'S NOTE: We sincerely apologize for the student text not including perforations and hole punches. We received a shipment that was incorrect. We sent you an email to address this issue.
Math is fun

My student has missed alot of his math classes at his public school. This was a very nice way to help him to get caught up before heading into more advamced skills.

This is the last MLFLE book and seems to be the perfect way to make sure my guys are ready for Principles of Mathematics next year. I did add the Academy course to go along with it.

Really Liked the Math Lessons
Review by Kala
Our two oldest sons were well prepared for middle school math and pre-algebra after finishing Level 6. The book is setup in a way that transitioned well to more complex math problems while not being overwhelming to teach or for the kids to complete. We are on kiddo #3 with Math Lessons for a Living Education!
Highly recommend
Review by Donna
We have used this series since grade 2, it is a gentle approach and so effective, am hoping to be as pleased with the next level, from my early preview, it looks promising!
A welcomed change
Review by Shauna
We came from a different math curriculum and I really like the way MLFLE teaches the same concepts but in a lighter way. My child has learned a lot without being overwhelmed by too many repetitive math problems. I also enjoy the really life application examples, such as computing wages and writing checks. I wish MLFLE extended into the Jr. High and High School grades.
