Christian faith almost always meets skepticism.  Are you equipped to effectively handle the skeptic’s questions and debates?

Meet the Skeptic is a new approach to equipping believers to engage the non-believing culture. Author Bill Foster takes the multitude of objections and reduces them to four basic categories.  Understanding these categories will enable you to effectively share your hope in the gospel of Jesus Christ and clarify the skeptic’s root objection. Foster offers pop culture references and biblical support so that you can:

  • Recognize the Red-Flag Words that prop up objections
  • Ask probing questions and acquire an ear for opportunities
  • Develop an understanding of the skeptics ideas and better fulfill the Great Commission.

This easy to read approach to apologetics and evangelism is a field guide to faith conversations. It is written for teens, college students, and adults and can be used as a group study with the leader’s guide and workbook.

So helpful

I've already given a copy of this to a young family member and it is amazing at giving us a thoughtful reference to communicate and defend our faith.
Exactly what I was looking for
Review by Leslie
Exactly what I was looking for to better be able to share my faith with others. I was always so nervous about saying the wrong thing or offending someone. This book has helped me and is one I will probably come back to read again and refresh.
Great resource

I was searching for something that would help me have conversations with those in my life who are questioning my faith and worldview...not to win an argument but to get to the heart of the issue. I'm grateful to have found this.
Great

I always had questions how to share your faith with friends or people who are sceptical. And so many mistakes I made! This book is en easy read, and eye opening on how to approach such people. I would love my son to read it too when he gets just a little older. All Christians need this info.
Interesting book
Review by Susan
Helpful in the area of apologetics for my teen son. Good definitions of commonly misunderstood terms were presented.
Quick and Easy Read, but lots to think about
Review by Adrienne
I loved that this book didn't just give you a background of other religions, but equipped you with the tools needed to have those hard conversations in a graceful and loving way.
Incredibly Helpful!
Review by Nichole
I love the Root Ideas behind speaking to skeptics! There is a reason they have certain doubts and questions and it’s our job to get to that instead of answer question after question on the surface. The explanations are awesome for each worldview!
Excellent Resource

I am glad I read this book. It has helped me to understand how skeptics think. I will definitely keep this one handy. I am hoping my children will be able to read it when they are a little older.
Connecting and Communicating
Review by Abby
As Christians, it is critical that we are able to connect and communicate with the loss. When you think about the experiences that lead people to Jesus, they can really vary. Some, like Lee Strobel, are brought to their knees through facts, science, and history. Others are brought to salvation through a significant situation in their lives. This book is a great starting point for learning how to connect and effectively communicate with the lost.
Great resource
Review by Natalie
This book gives specific and biblical answers for ways to engage a skeptic in a kind, but knowledgeable manner. Not only has it increased my own faith, but it’s given me wonderful ideas to defend my faith in a culture rampant with unbelief.
