Great extra activities or summer skill review
Review by JoyfulMommy
The Math Lessons for A Living Education series is designed to be developmentally appropriate, so they have lighter work loads that build with each level (and graduates of this series are well-prepared for Principles of Mathematics). If we need extra practice with a concept, it’s great to be able to pull in some pages from Practice Makes Perfect, and the various activities help to reinforce what we are learning. Practice Makes Perfect has also been helpful to keep math skills sharp through the summer!
So Helpful
Review by Samantha
A helpful companion that gives students extra practice to master the skills taught in MLLE Level 3. The additional exercises reinforce concepts and provide valuable review for growing math confidence.
Great for transitioning from other math
Review by jennifer
I used this to prepare for the full level 4 course as we were transitioning from another curriculum to fill in any gaps. It was great in this way! Highly recommend!
So helpful!
Review by Amiller
It’s great to have the extra practice for tricky concepts. We sometimes use it as independent morning work to reinforce what we learned the day before. Anything leftover we use over the summer to keep skills up.
Yes!

We love the practice sheets and will definitely be getting each level in the future!
Great addition to Level 3 math
Review by Miranda
This was a great supplement book for us to add in for my son. We were struggling in some areas and incorporating this book in was a huge help. He loved doing it too. I’m grateful Master Books offered this!
Not needed but worth every penny!!
Review by Lindsay
Again, this is not needed but very worth it!! I am a mom to three boys. Smallest one is just getting started, middle is great at math and the oldest can struggle. I am thankful for these books because it is a way for me to make sure they know and understand what they are learning, It is also helpful because I don't have to make any extra worksheets myself.
Not needed but def. Worth getting!
Review by Ashley
This book is not a necessity but I’m so glad that I got it anyways! I use this for when my daughter is working on her Math 3 and says “Mom, I’m finished!” I’m usually busy helping one of the other kids so I tell her to grab the practice makes perfect book and do a page or activity out of it while she’s waiting for me. It’s also a great book to do over the summer to keep things fresh in their mind before starting in the fall!
Fun!
Review by Betsy
I like having these books on hand in case my children need more practice with a certain concept or to have for fun extras. Some of the pages include coloring or other fun activities as the children have math concepts reinforced. I love how MB is helping to keep childhood and enjoyment of learning alive!
Resourceful
Review by LaTyersha
We have not used this yet BUT we will very soon. Instead of using it while doing the level 3 math curriculum, we’re going to utilize it afterwards for extra work and reinforcement of what was learned before stepping into math level 4. Ive already looked at the pages and im excited for my daughter to work some of these quizzes and extra work.
