    This little handwriting book is great practice for students who have finished Catch on to Cursive or need a little extra practice with penmanship. It focuses on copying and tracing parables found in Luke, along with a few other activities to aid in learning about the parables, so it’s not just copying words without meaning. It’s a fun addition without adding too much time to the school day. The exercises are short, which is great to avoid exhausting their little hands and attention spans.
    Great for practice but red ink prints light if using black and white...

    My kiddos were excited when I printed these pages for them! Having the download is handy because I can just print pages we want to focus our practice on (or print extra fun activity pages for younger siblings!), but we did notice that since most of the dotted lines to trace are in red ink, it’s a little hard to see when printed black and white. This book is geared for grades 3-4 and I’d say the size and activities are well-suited for that level. My sixth grader likes the practice but prefers writing smaller than the book is designed for, so (again with the download), it is nice to be able to scale the size down when printing for her.

    I really like how the Scripture selections explore the parables, and are tied together with other activities like mazes, dot to dots, and hidden pictures, leading not only to fine motor skills and penmanship practice, but also openings for meaningful, heart-level conversations. What better words for children to copy and think upon than the living and active Word of God?!

    Another great resource from Master Books to have on hand for extra cursive practice. If you have done their book Catch on to Cursive and would like to have a little extra practice during your Homeschool week then this works great.
    With only three days a week on the schedule, it won’t take long and won’t feel like “just one more thing to check off the list”, especially as the book is set up with more than just Bible verses to copy. They have also included dot-to-dot, test your knowledge, hidden pictures, decode the message and other fun things that make this book more interactive and a fun part of your school day.

    My son finished Catch on to Cursive and wanted more practice. I had him go through that book again at his pace.
    Little sister got the handwriting Little Scribes and my son was begging me if there was one for cursive. Yes, now there is. We got it and started it right away! Not only is he enjoying practicing his cursive skills, but he is able to practice with parables! He even skipped to his favorite parable. He is happy, doing a great job in practicing cursive, and I am a happy mom, seeing my child excited to be in scripture.
    Like the Handwriting Little Scribes, every assignment has a scripture to trace and then copy, with an additional activity. Some are coloring pages to go along with the verse(s) they did that day, sometimes focus on the words in the scripture itself, or an application of the scripture.
    I recommend Little Scribes so students can continue practicing what they have learned.

    I love this resource as a next step after Catch on to Cursive! It is an excellent opportunity to write scripture down - a great way to memorise God's word! - and practice the skill of cursive writing. This is a really great book to add to worship time. Kids can listen to gentle gospel music while training their hearts on the life-giving words they are copying

    Practicing Cursive with Scripture is so wonderful in many ways!

    First of all, it is an awesome extra practice in cursive for children. On the top of it, it helps children to copy and, through that, memorize the Bible. After each daily scripture, there is an activity to solidify what was taught in that particular part of scripture, so the children can study it as well. Even though I felt like some activities were a bit too childish, I can see that the purpose of them is to help child to solidify and visually remember the scripture.

    Overall, I love these new extra practice through scripture series. It is so valuable and helpful in practicing great penmanship and studying the Bible at the same time.

    This is a fantastic follow up to Catch on to Cursive! I have been looking for a resource that would not only give my son more practice after completing Catch on to Cursive, but also where God’s word and the Bible were the core of what he was practicing. Insert Little Scribes Cursive! This is exactly what I have been searching months for! My son loves not only practicing more cursive, but he gets to write scripture while he is doing it. He loves being able to write verses that he has memorized as well. The lessons are short but effective, and only 3 days a week. I love how it helps continue the practice of hiding God’s word in my son’s heart!

    It’s great practice of penmanship, while also engraving scripture on little hearts! I love how it instills reverence and care for the Scriptures. Even my 6th grader enjoys writing about what Jesus spoke!
    Easy reinforcement and practice for cursive

    I just started using this as extra practice for cursive with my 4th and 5th grader. The set up is great, a few days a week and daily it ties back to scripture and reading, copying verses. It does not take very long to complete and I love that they are getting those extra verses in their minds. The space to write in is spacious even for my "giant writer". You could use this along with Catch on to Cursive if you wanted but for us it works great as extra reinforcement and taking a little time to write out a verse and discuss. The activities that go along with the pages are also fun. My kids have enjoyed this book so far.
