Packed Full of Information
Review by Lexie
My family has really enjoyed this Profiles of Valor Audiobook series. My family downloaded the audiobook version and was able to listen to it in the car. We found the voice of the reader made this audiobook an easy listen. This second volume got my daughter's excited to hear about women who made a difference with their character. Each chapter is introduced with a character quality which is defined, memory verse given, story about a person that gives a surprising amount of detail, and then questions (as well as the answers) at the end of each section. This book series helped to make these people we've read about in books feel more like someone my family can empathize and relate hearing their accounts beyond a history lesson.
A thoughtful audiobook that highlights everyday courage
Review by Kathleen C
Profiles of Valor Volume 2 is a meaningful audiobook that broadened our children’s understanding of courage and faith. As a homeschooling parent, I appreciated how this volume highlights both well-known and lesser-known individuals whose quiet faithfulness and moral conviction made a lasting impact.
The stories are easy to follow for upper elementary and middle school listeners and naturally spark discussions about integrity, worldview, and standing firm in truth. Listening together helped my children see how daily obedience and trust in the Lord matter just as much as heroic moments, making this a valuable addition to our homeschool history and Bible time.
Great for listening on the go!
Review by MICHELLE
Volume 2 of Profiles of Valor continues to highlight individuals who stood firm in their beliefs despite challenges. The stories emphasize bravery, integrity, and reliance on God, helping children see how faith plays a role in real historical moments.

The writing remains engaging and age-appropriate, making it suitable for both independent reading and family discussions. We found that this volume naturally led to conversations about making wise choices and standing strong in one’s convictions.

This audiobook is a valuable supplement for families who want to weave character development and faith-based lessons into their homeschool routine easily. We like listening to material like this on the road or while we work on hands-on projects.
Quick and concise!
Review by Laura S
We enjoyed listening to these concise biographies of important American figures, some well known but many lesser know characters.

Each chapter began by highlighting a character quality exemplified by the individual and a related Bible verse followed by a specific story from their life. These audiobooks are very quick and compact biographies that share a specific story from the individual’s life and then including their main life achievements and how they impacted America. The end of chapter questions include short answer questions about the story but also more thought provoking questions about the highlighted character quality.
Great audiobook
Review by Andi
Great audiobook to pair with the book itself, or just listen when driving and want to have things to discuss. The cadence of the reader is great, clearly understandable and the stories in volume 2 are continued with the same pattern of great valor. Unique set of history to listen and discuss. I appreciate this collection. I really like audiobooks for my kids as one absorbs everything he hears so much easier than reading it.
