This book is a good overview of major Bible events for children. It could be used as a devotional or homeschool supplement. They do keep it child friendly, even with difficult subjects such as David's and Bathsheba. However, it would be best utilized for mid to upper elementary. It's even the text for Language Lessons 6. At my children's age, we don't use it much yet, but I anticipate our family growing into it.

I have this book in print and also the ebook version. The ebook is so handy on my tablet, I have it wherever I go. Easy to read, I do this as my own daily devotions. I love that there are references of more verses that I can read to go along with what I'm learning. I have done a couple of the days with my oldest and he has enjoyed having discussion with me. I may print a copy so that I can write on it as I go through with him also. Great learning tool...even for me!!

The 10 Minute Bible Journey is a devotional made up of 52 stories that give the big picture of the Bible, from Creation to Heaven. Each story is designed to be easily read and understood by students, is quick to read and is labeled with the year it took place. Each story also includes extra reference notes that help equip the reader to defend his or her faith. The ebook version is helpful in that the articles and websites that are referenced are hyperlinked, making it easy to learn even more. Each day’s reading includes Bible references, a Key Verse, and a prayer, as well as a full page picture. The book is informative as well as fun to look at. I also appreciated the helpful tools at the end of the book. There is a Bible reading plan outlined that begins with reading the 52 stories in the 10 Minute Bible Journey, then reading through the Bible in its entirety. The Small Group usage ideas were also helpful. The 10 Minute Bible Journey is a helpful addition to every family’s library!

The 10-Minute Bible Journey gives a thorough, summarized overview of the Bible. The Table of Contents reflects an expansion on the 7Cs of History biblical, historical timeline to include Covenant, Commandments, Crown, Captivity, and Christian Era. Fifty-two summary readings cover the main events of the Bible. Each one is illustrated with a colorful, attractive visual page. The primary Scripture passage is used as a reference for further reading, a key verse is highlighted, and a suggested prayer wraps up the day’s reading. Each summary includes key details of the biblical account and appropriate tie-ins to the Lord Jesus Christ, the New Testament, or practical application for personal life. Bonus sections address additional topics like angels and the Ice Age. A suggested Bible reading plan is included in the back of the book to encourage reading through the Bible after reading its overview in The 10-Minute Bible Journey. Endnotes with references for further study are included at the back of the book. One of the digital versions allows these references to be linked directly through the digital device. This book would be useful in a variety of ways: as a general introduction to the Bible for a new believer or older child, a baptismal gift, and for family or individual devotions.

These beautifully depicted, Bible based stories are a lovely way to walk through the Word of God from Day one. The incredible art work and wonderful story telling make it continually engaging and easy to understand the stories of the Bible. The scripture references in the “Primary Passages” and “Key Verse” make it easy to dig into the stories further on your own. The “Wrap up” is a great way to increase understanding and create a dialogues with the Lord on each story.

This is such a great bible ! The extra information really helps with understanding.

We purchased this to go with Language Lessons for a Living Education 6 and its great. My daughter and I both love the layout and images. The additional info included such as the key verses is great for my daughter.

My husband and I wanted a simple devotional we could do with our kids right after supper. We also wanted something that would help grow their faith and ask questions. Something engaging and eye-opening for all of us. We found it with Master Books’ The 10 Minute Bible Journey. It has all of us engaged in the word, conversations, and seeking answers to the questions that arise. We highly recommend this for family daily devotional time. The ebook was perfect for us. We love that we can take it on the go with our phones or tablet, or print it out for copies and not feel guilty writting on it with notes as we learn.

I use this for my daily devotions and it is helpful in providing a better understanding of the Bible.

This is a great value for the price. The pictures don’t use too much color ink during printing.
