Endorsements

In The Case for Zionism, Dr. Thomas Ice presents a fresh, comprehensive, and engaging analysis of Zionism from a variety of perspectives — historical, political, theological, and ultimately biblical. In the process, he soundly refutes many of the unfounded, and often scurrilous, objections and accusations that have been leveled against both Jewish and Christian Zionism. Demonstrating a clear command of the subject, which stems from many years of Christian ministry and academic research at the highest level, Dr. Ice presents a clear, watertight case for why every true Christian should stand with God’s chosen nation, Israel. I highly recommend this well-researched and readable book.

I’ve been waiting for this book for many years. It’s needed now more than ever. Tommy is a passionate voice for premillennialism and a future for national Israel. Simply stated, no one is better on this subject than Tommy. I’ve heard him speak at conferences on Christian Zionism over the last three decades and am thrilled to see his clear, careful research available in one resource. I will read this book carefully and use it again and again as a trusted guide. You should too.

The Hebrew word “Zion” is used 154 times in the Old Testament — 37 of which are in the Psalms and 46 usages in Isaiah. The New Testament uses the word 7 times. Dr. Thomas Ice has brought to the attention of its readers, a book that clearly presents the case for “Zionism” and urges Christians and Jews alike to support it and defend it. Psalm 87:2 states: “The LORD loveth the gates of ZION more than all the dwellings of Jacob,” and in Psalm 99:2 we read: “The LORD is great in ZION; and He is high above all the people.” May the God of Israel bless the efforts of this excellent book!”

Eye-opening
Review by JoyfulMommy
This book was very eye-opening regarding the history of Zionism, as well as terms I’ve heard but hadn’t studied much such as replacement theology, covenant versus dispensational, etc. I also didn’t realize the extent of anti-Semitism and even movement towards Islamic belief systems within the Christian church. Besides explaining the Biblical case for Zionism, the author presents clear legal and genealogical evidence to support the legitimacy of Israel as a nation.

Seeing God’s hand at work in history fulfilling prophecy is a reminder that He is faithful and will do exactly as He has promised. It’s a reminder, too, that He’s STILL fulfilling prophecy! I liked the quote, “The modern Christian must read with the Bible in one hand and the newspaper in the other.” Jesus is coming back, and while we don’t know the day or hour, we can be sure we are drawing closer each day! Are you ready?

“Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless.” (2 Peter 3:14)
The Case for Zionism
Review by Santina
This is an interesting and informational read. It has helped me to think about topics which I haven't previously read a lot about (such as Zionism and replacement theology). This book is geared more for young adults and up. Overall I feel The Case for Zionism is very well researched and all nine chapters are clear and well organized.
Just what I needed
Review by Dustie
I picked up this book to help gain a better understanding of current events, from a biblical perspective. What I’ve gotten is such a wealth of understanding, including pieces of history that I’ve never known. In particular, I appreciate the deeper understanding I’ve gained about replacement theory. The author absolutely stands firm on God’s Word, and he sheds light on many of the social movements and viewpoints that are affecting our world today. As someone who follows current events, it is encouraging to be reminded to look forward to God’s promises, rather than to dwell on what seems scary today.
A very timely book
Review by Sara
I really enjoyed this book. As we have read in the Bible, as time continues those against Israel will grow until all are against the nation and we certainly see a tremendous amount of evidence for that all around us. It is a very important subject that should be discussed and every Christian should be able to defend Israel and know why they stand for this nation. This book goes through scripture, prophecy, historical data, the impact of replacement theology and modern antisemitism. I appreciated this straight forward read, it was to the point, and informed me on a lot of things I just didn't have any idea about. Perfect for those wanting to learn more about Israel, the changing landscape or politics towards Israel and mere interest. I intend to use this book again in pointing friends towards support of Israel.
enjoyable
Review by Ashley
This book contains 9 chapters describing Zionism and antisemitism describing about why the author thinks it is important to understand what these are. There are quotes out of the Bible and explanations what they mean with the topic. I liked reading this book. It is short with only 222 pages and very interesting information.
