Love the structure

The teacher guide is a great companion to the student text. I love how the schedule is clearly laid out for what is to be covered each day.
Love this book!!

For my kids but also for me! Lol my kids are on the younger side but they love learning about history and I wanted a curriculum I could read and go through with them starting from creation. This has been a huge hit with them o do change some of the wording or leave out things that go over their heads right now but they have picked up and learned so much already and I’ve definitely learned so much myself. I will be utilizing this book over the next few years as right now I have them narrate to me what they learned and ask the questions but as they get older the teacher guide will come in handy then too. But it gives me ideas to go off of to help make sure their history journals are being added to.

Fun and Engaging

My daughters were growing bored with our history of the United States books, so their last year of middle school we switched to this! It was perfect! Simple, easy to understand, but very engaging with tons of activities--- and the best part for me this year while dealing with medical for me and my family- it's pretty hands off as a teacher. I appreciated that this year. I love that it's faith based so I don't have to worry about what they could be learning.
Great curriculum. I highly recommend.

Some of our favorites !

We enjoyed the ancient history textbook, but I wasn't a fan of the "teacher guide." For one thing, it's confusing to call it a "teacher guide" since it's more of a student workbook. I did like the lesson plans and found the schedule easy to use. Unfortunately, the worksheets are terribly redundant; about halfway through the year, we ditched the "teacher guide" and simply stayed with the weekly reading in the textbook. If I was purchasing again, I'd skip the guide.
Great Resource

This is a great resource. It has creative and writing outlets which allow the student to process the information.
Must have for independent learners.
Review by Jamie
This is the key to helping students bridge from one on one elementary courses to independent high school courses. It has a great feel for middle schoolers learning to work independently.
Great help

This will be a great help to teach the course to my child. I like how Masterbooks makes teaching easy. Thank you!
Helpful Tool

I struggle with how much worksheet type things to add to our homeschool or if we should use them at all. BUT, what I've found with the MB history teacher guides is that they are so versatile and I can pick and choose what to use for any given chapter. If my boys need to dig deeper and I want questions for them, it's already done for me. So I really like the teacher guides for that reason and if we don't do every page, I don't sweat it.
