"The longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth; that God governs in the affairs of men.” -Benjamin Franklin

Timeline of the Revolution studies the Revolutionary War through a timeline approach, covering each event, story, and battle in the order it unfolded in history. As students follow the events of the Revolutionary War, they’ll also encounter the stories of men and women who sought God’s direction and experienced His Providential guidance as history unfolded. Through engaging narrative, founder’s quotes, and poetry of the era, students will discover how God worked both naturally and supernaturally in the formation of the United States of America.

My son really enjoyed this and got him loving reading history books
This curriculum is gold
Review by Ashley
I used this curriculum with my daughter in 2021 and it was absolutely amazing. We couldn’t stop at just one chapter because it was just so interesting and jammed packed with information. As an adult, I found it so much more than what i I was taught in school and I loved it! The authors are amazing at describing what was happening and we completed this with such an understanding of the events leading up to and during the Revolutionary War. Every person should complete this series and I truly wish this author would create history curriculum for other eras and subjects as well. This has been my favorite thus far and I find it hard to beat.
Nice history course

We went through America’s Story 1 pretty quickly, so I ordered this so we could learn more about our country and its foundation. The questions aren’t super complicated and the reading sections are reasonable. My 10 year old is asking questions and making connections, so that’s a win!!!
wonderful

We are doing this book alongside the biographies of the Revolution. I am having my girls do a journal/notebook of the timeline where they are drawing the people or event on the timeline. It gives them creativity and helps me know what they are learning. This book it great and I am learning new things as I teach them. We are all learning together.
Great information

My daughter is really enjoying this set. It goes into just enough detail to keep her attention but doesn’t go long enough for her to get distracted. She loves doing the projects at the end of each chapter.

My son (4th grade) and I love this set. He loves history, math, and science. The vocabulary is quite rich, so I read this to him most times, but I was surprised when his 2 younger brothers (age 7 and 5) cozied up next to us to see the incredible things going on in the book. Lots of pictures to go along with the rich text. For us, the oral tests work wonderfully as it saves on paper and time. We even enjoyed trivia time with dad as we wondered how much he remembered or knew from school.
Brings history to life in your living room! Thank you very much. We want to try the Biography set next.
Informative & Easy to Follow
Review by Tiffany
I chose this history for my 6th grader. He's enjoyed learning about the founding of our nation, and at a time when it seems very appropriate to revisit this subject for all of us. Written very well, much like a story that you can follow along. I've had just as much fun learning as my son has!
