    Wholesome and Fond Memories

    Not only do my kids enjoy this book but I did as a child but for a special reason. I am one of the kids singing backup for Buddy Davis. Its such a special memory for me and now I get to share it with my kids. I have one of the first printed copies and Buddy and his wife signed it and drew a dino inside the cover.

    *Note I just listened to the free mp3 today and was pleasantly surprised it was the original song with us singing. it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for making this available to everyone!

    As a child of God raising little men and women, I hate it when I read the first story of Adam and Eve and find illustrations of nudity. Yes they were naked. But do we have to only hide the private parts. There are two photos in this book - one showing Eve’s midsection and another that is tiny but only covers her “private sections” as she’s walking in between two dinosaurs. My 8 & 5 year old boys do not need to see an almost naked woman in a kids book telling about dinosaurs in the beginning of time.

    This is my kids' favorite bedtime book! The pictures are gorgeous, and the story is slow and gentle, but enough to keep them engaged.

    I got this in a flash sale without really knowing much about it. Since we got it a couple of weeks ago my boys, ages 2 & 4, have asked to read it almost every night before bed. It's not easy to find books that hold their attention but they listen intently to this one each time we read it. My older kids (5 &7) have loved it as well and it's brought up good questions and conversations with them.
