With beautiful illustrations and an engaging rhyme, this little book explains the true history of the rainbow as a symbol of God’s promise to Noah and the world after the Great Flood. When You See a Rainbow also teaches children the colors of the rainbow. Parents love that the salvation plan is included in the back of the book.
The rainbow has taken on different cultural overtones in the past few years, but it is vitally important that children remember the true history of the rainbow as a symbol of God’s promise to Noah and the world after the Great
Flood.
Beautiful illustrations present a colorful backdrop that will delight children
Includes a short but powerful explanation of the rainbow and its significance
Reminds all believers why the rainbow was placed in the sky by God and its purpose even today!

Biblically based with beautiful colors.
Review byPam
There is an error on the page that reads " and the golden feathers on chickadees". Chickadees are black, white and tan birds. The birds would be more accurately correct if labelled as yellow warblers.

The illustrations are beautiful. I love that the end of the book is a flap that opens to tell more about the Rainbow Covenant of God. Great for kids and parents alike! Great for your home and to give as a gift. I will be buying the whole series.

My two littlest LOVE this book - one of which is obsessed with rainbows and Noah's Ark lately. I love the pictures and color reinforcement with my youngest. I also love the parent information in the back that helps teach more about Rainbows and how it relates to the Bible.

Love this for so many reasons
Review byBoymom2016
My son is my rainbow baby so I was excited to see this book say "God's masterpieces are all around..." "you can...touch them, and hear their cries". This has let me talk more with him about the Biblical meaning of the rainbow but also how he is sometimes referred to as a rainbow baby because he did come after the storm as a tiny little (preemie) miracle from God. He has been fascinated by rainbows so the additional information in the back of the book is helpful for mom to explain things better too.
