Amazing Visual Aid

With my kids being primarily visual learners, the timeline is such a valuable reference piece. Creating the timeline was easy, the pictures are detailed and not just placeholders, but beautiful reference pieces that aid in understanding from a distance. The activity of creating the timeline along with the actual use of the timeline was WELL worth the reasonable cost of the timeline pack. Big fan! Even my littles are enjoying it.

The timelines are such a great addition to our study of history! I love how Masterbooks offers these great visual references to help put history into perspective. For those of us who are visual learners, the beautiful pictures offer a great visual prompt for what was happening in history during that time. I love how the work is already done for me, and we can just cut the pictures out and add them to our timeline. My kids enjoy the process of working on the timeline, and we all enjoy seeing how we progress through history. The timelines are also very affordable, so I highly recommend adding them to your study!

Included are 69 large timeline pieces. Measure 5” by 4”. They include a mix of colors or black-and-white pictures. The colored images are very vibrant and have a lot of detail in the pictures. There are from 1-6 timeline pieces for each chapter of the World’s Story 1 book. Also included are timeline strips dating from the years 4000 BC- AD350.

World's Story 1 (Timeline) is a wonderful addition to the World's Story 1 history course. It provides premade timeline for a student to cut out and glue to the notebook, poster board, roll paper, or any place that works best for a family. I like that the timeline is colorful, the perfect size for use, user friendly, and complementary to the course. It saves time in creating the timeline. It highlights the important parts of each chapter to help the student remember the course better. Works perfectly for my family.

We have loved using this timeline pack as a supplement to The World’s Story 1. Doing the timeline has been one of my kid’s favorite things - each has their own copy of the Wonders of Old Timeline book and they love adding these images to their timeline. They tend to recall the events easier when they have a picture versus just adding text.
As a parent, these are convenient and very easy to use. I appreciate that it is also offered as an ebook so that I can print for each of my kids!

The timeline cards are beautifully illustrated and clearly show important historical events, making it easier for my kids to understand the flow of ancient history. One of our favorite history activities!

The timeline packs have been among our favorite activities going through the America’s Story and World’s Story courses. These provide a great visual and help students see the bigger picture. The dates, descriptions, and illustrations or photos are fun for reviewing the material covered. They’re also beautiful and colorful. Our timelines have become fun keepsakes. We’ve used the trifold poster board for each level, as they tuck away nicely. However, one could use them on a wall timeline or in a book, also.
