Excited to do writing again
Review by Kari
I was looking for a new approach to writing that would be effective and yet help my kids become excited overwriting. This is when I found writing strands. This program did exactly that for us. We look forward to walking through all the levels. My daughter worked through the previous level quickly and she loves this gentle,e simple, effective approach. She looks forward to her writing curriculum now, compared to the past, where she dreaded it.
Good writing program
Review by Kat
Took some getting used to critiquing my kids writing, but they are enjoying the program and I am actually enjoying getting to know my kids writing better and finding ways they can improve. I know it’s worth the effort. Definitely recommend the teaching companion to help guide improvements in the student’s writing. I haven’t yet used the reading part of the program but it looks good and I am planning to use it next year.
Wonderful

We had a pretty rough start in the beginning. I really didn't want to be so involved as it seems to be needed. I really should've placed my daughter in the Beginners 2 level because we are now doing Intermediate 1 over again . That has nothing to do with the curriculum, I just really didn't want to be apart of guiding her in her writing (I have never been good at writing). Anyhow now that I am use to being involved in it and guiding my children along the way I have been learning some things as well!

I'm so grateful for the option of the PDF version, especially because I have decided to have my daughter do this level again, due to my lack of not guiding. I've printed out the PDF again and I discover it has been updated! the updates are amazing! I flipped through the book and compared it to the other one and their are examples in it! That was exactly what we needed. I am so glad we continued with this and didn't choose to go with something else. Thank you for the updates, working out those kinks.
